Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds are handled for consultancy services provided by Choice Consultancy.

Nature of Services

Choice Consultancy provides professional consultancy and advisory services. These may include business strategy, systems development, digital growth support, healthcare advisory work, education support, website or funnel consultancy, and related professional services.

Services are usually delivered digitally or remotely through video calls, email, written documents, online systems, project work, or other agreed methods.

Choice Consultancy does not sell or ship physical products.

One-Off Consultancy Fees

One-off consultancy fees may apply to strategy calls, advisory sessions, audits, reviews, reports, project work or agreed deliverables.

Once a consultancy session has taken place, or once work has started on a bespoke project, fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Recurring Consultancy Fees

Recurring fees may apply where a client engages Choice Consultancy for ongoing support, monthly consultancy, implementation support, advisory retainers or similar services.

Recurring payments will be agreed with the client in advance before billing begins.

Clients may cancel future recurring services in line with the agreed cancellation terms. Unless otherwise agreed, cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund work already completed, time already allocated, or services already delivered.

Cancellation by the Client

Where reasonable notice is provided, we will try to reschedule the consultation or agree an appropriate next step.

For project-based work, cancellation terms will depend on how much work has already been completed, whether time has been reserved, whether resources have been allocated, and any written agreement in place.

Missed Appointments

If a client misses a booked consultation without reasonable notice, the session may be treated as used and may not be refundable.

Choice Consultancy may, at its discretion, offer to reschedule the session.

Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may depend on:

- Whether the service has already started

- Whether a consultation has already taken place

- Whether bespoke work has already been created

- Whether time or resources have already been allocated

- Whether the client has provided required information, access or approvals

- The terms agreed before payment

Approved refunds will usually be returned to the original payment method.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

Where services are purchased online by a consumer, cancellation rights may apply under UK distance-selling rules.

If you request that services begin within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that you may be required to pay for any work carried out up to the point of cancellation.

Where a service has been fully delivered, your right to cancel may be affected.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If there is an issue with a payment or service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter quickly and fairly.

We aim to communicate clearly, provide agreed services professionally, and resolve concerns before they become payment disputes.
